After exploring the academic world as a mathematician, I transitioned into the industry with a primary focus on research and development. Currently, I work as an Algorithms and Machine Learning Specialist at ClothingTech LLC. My main area of expertise centers around 3D simulation and machine learning projects. Research remains my passion, where I delve into model reduction techniques, with a particular emphasis on sparse artificial neural networks and sparse signal reconstruction.

Hale Visiting Assistant Professor

Georgia Institute of Technology

  • Proposed a new regularization technique for deep sparse neural networks that theoretically outperforms existing specification techniques. This is an ongoing work.
  • Demonstrated that under minimal requirements, all local minima neural networks of the resulting regularization problem are well behaved and possess a desirable small size without sacrificing precision.
  • Developed a new algorithm for simultaneous recovery of multiple vectors. This technique has a wide range of potential applications to be explored, including image recovery, feature extraction, column selection, and matrix factorization.
  • Taught classes in discrete mathematics, probability and statistics for undergraduate students. Created assignments, and assessed student performance.

  • Introduced a new regularizer for joint sparse recovery which has improved the number of required measurements for recovery by 1.5 times compared to existing state-of-the-art methods.
  • Conducted research in the mathematical theory behind regularization techniques for training reduced size neural networks.
